Joliet to Ottawa - Sept 9

Left the Joliet city wall by 7am to begin our 46 mile cruise to Ottawa.  This turned into a 10 hour day due to a three hour delay at our last lock.  A 14 barge tow and a fuel barge take a long time lock through. Our marina for the evening is the Heritage Harbor Marina where we stayed with Henk Witte on the Marco Polo II three years ago. Great marina!  Due to weather we will spend Wednesday here also.

    Hello! Sounds like you have had quite an adventure so far. Glad to hear that all is going well. Love the updates and pics.
